A Kilwinning housing development has been recognised nationally as an example of how offsite timber frame can support faster, more energy-efficient housing delivery.
Archerview, Keepmoat’s 85-home development in Kilwinning, has been shortlisted for Residential Project of the Year at the Offsite Awards 2026.
Deeside Timberframe supplied and erected the timber frame package for the development, working in partnership with Keepmoat to support the delivery of contemporary three and four-bedroom homes in a well-connected Ayrshire location.
The Residential Project of the Year category recognises projects that demonstrate excellence in housing delivery, with emphasis placed on collaboration, energy efficiency, speed and quality of construction, long-term value and benefits for residents.
Located less than a mile from Kilwinning town centre and around five miles from the Ayrshire coast, Archerview has been designed to offer modern family living close to local shops, schools, health centres and transport links. The homes also include energy-efficient features, including roof-mounted solar panels, supporting lower energy demand for residents.
The shortlisting recognises Archerview as a strong example of how collaboration between housebuilders and offsite timber frame manufacturers can support the delivery of high-quality, energy-efficient homes with greater programme certainty.
